The Chinese Language (Simplified Mandarin Characters) is the standard form of the Chinese language. Knowledge of the Chinese language will enable better communication with Chinese speaking people and provide a better understanding of Chinese culture.

Who is the educator and when do classes start?
Ms.Yi is one of the mandarin teachers at our school. She has years of experience teaching Mandarin as a second language and teaching Mandarin to all ages. Ms.Yi focuses on educating students on Pinyin, Chinese characters, pronunciations and communications in an interesting, efficient, and productive learning environment for those in the class.
The class is offered once a week on Saturday Mornings.
8:15-9:05 AM / 10:15-11:15AM
Playgroup 6+ (50 mins)
This session is to help children age 6+, build a solid foundation for learning Chinese. Children are able to build a strong foundation in Hanyu Pinyin, vocabulary and phrases and sentences through practicing daily conversations and nurture confidence in communicating in Mandarin.
9:15-10:05 AM
Playgroup age 3-6 (50mins)
In this session, Children will learn vocabulary and short sentences from our small class size playgroup, children are able to nurture confidence in communicating in Mandarin through fun activity, music, art, storytelling and play, and will nurture a strong interest for Mandarin.
Where do we offer the classes?
Classes are conducted in the specially prepared educational environment within our Montessori School. Our facilities are fully equipped with all necessary educational activities and materials required for the children of that age.
