Montessori Gifted Prep is a Chicago independent school, which is the perfect intersection of a small, caring school community and a dynamic academic curriculum. At Montessori Gifted Prep, we pride ourselves on finding the right balance of a Montessori foundation with the deliberate use of technology and academic resources to ensure our students are prepared for today’s society. Our program lays the groundwork for a child to be “self-directed.” It is a time for exploration, imagination, questioning and growth. At Montessori Gifted Prep, children are appreciated for their individuality and have the opportunity to dive deeper into subjects that interest them.
Montessori Gifted Prep's small size enables teachers to form a strong bond with each child. Through collaborative projects, children become contributing members of their classroom communities. The students will become the school leaders, showcasing their curiosity, critical thinking and confidence.
Our small and welcoming community makes it easy for parents to participate. Montessori Gifted Prep offers many opportunities for parents to be involved including social events with families, classroom observations and teacher conferences, and roles in the school’s parent association.
Montessori Gifted Prep is the only Montessori school in Chicago offering a results-oriented trilingual immersion based Montessori curriculum to prepare graduates for the Chicago Public School Gifted and Classical elementary school programs. More importantly, our graduates will be responsible and thoughtful young people.
