Jazz at MGP program designed for our children to engage with the diverse cultural elements of our city. Chicago has a vibrant jazz history which continues to flourish!
Jazz has been proven to accelerate creativity, as well as cognitive function and memory in young children. Our program features a special curriculum where students play games and participate in other interactive activities to help them internally the foundational skills they will use as their musical abilities grow. Come join us in our jazz musical world through rhythm, melody, and all other dynamics! Each of our class have 8 session on weekdays & weekends. |
Group Class 0-2Our mixed age 0-2 class designed to teach young children music through play. We are welcome one parent to come with the child for family music fun time together. In this mixed age class, our music teacher leads varies actives to encourage interaction between adult-child, and young-older children in the classroom.
Children discover music in their own level with fun actives for them to listen, move, sing, dance, and explore. We are aiming to make music a daily routine in our little one's life. Come join us as a family for fun! |
Group Class 2-4On top of what we have in 0-3 class, 4 and older class add on the introduction of different instruments. Children will emerged in singing games with open-ended exploration on music literacy skills. They are will hands-on experience with varieties of instruments from all over the world. Children will attend this class independently without any grown-up. |
